New online bookings pay the full rental amount upfront. Cancellation refunds follow the accepted policy; inside 24 hours, $35 is retained. Earlier bookings keep their deposit terms. Record returns to add $8 per damaged tote, then create a separate payment link for charges still due. Any applicable tax is entered on that bill; it is not automatically collected at booking. The legacy settings above apply only to older security-deposit bookings.

Share the link with the customer after confirming their booking. Stripe verifies payments automatically. Refund the deposit only after checking the return. Other refunds or deposit deductions can be handled in Stripe.

Staff notes
